INSPIRING STUDENTS TO CONSIDER IT CAREER PATHWAYS
High schools in Northeast Ohio are eligible for free IT career awareness and exploration programs sponsored by RITE. Enrollment for the highly acclaimed one-day expo — “Passport to IT Careers” (now in its 6th year) will open in December.
Four Great Programs At-A-Glance:
- The CoolTech Challenge: Student teams compete for awards using their best app and web site ideas. Competitors are invited to share their work at the Passport to IT Careers in March 2018.

- Passport to IT Careers: Students, employers, and colleges from across the Northeast Ohio region and employers meet for a one-day career expo to inform students about IT careers, regional educational options and local employer opportunities.

- RSVP (Site Visits): The RITE Site Visit program offers an opportunity for students to visit local companies and learn about IT careers first hand.

- Summer Camps: One week camps offered by RITE in partnership with TECH CORPS provide a real-world technology experience, put students in touch with IT professionals working in the field and are hosted by the region’s stellar college and universities.

Teachers Make the Difference!
Teachers who enroll their students in two or more of RITE’s programs during a calendar year earn the reward. This includes CoolTech Challenge, Passport to IT Careers, and RSVP (Site Visits.) Teachers who provide recommendations for students who apply to Summer Camps also qualify. The school is honored as a Premier School. For more information, go here.
